These past few weeks have been so hectic for me. Not only were there finals to worry about but my grandmother was in the hospital and has been diagnosed with stage 4 ovarian cancer :\ Which is weird to begin with since she hasn't had ovaries since 1958, but that's a mystery for the doctors to figure out. My computer can't read my camera's SD card so no current pictures of me trying them on. I do however have a picture of them from last night, sans all 18 of my pretty eyelets and two back-most boning channels *grumbles about technology*. ( Pictures and some words )

Since it turns out I can't go to Vista this weekend :( I've decided to reward myself with cutting out my first 18th century stays!
They look huge right now but I have to keep reminding myself that since it is a commercial pattern, they give quite a bit of seam allowance. I hope I don't have to take them in too much because they're going to take a ( Read more... )

Today, I just HAD to sew SOMETHING so I picked up a project that I had been meaning to do (a CW bustle) I didn't think that I would finish it today but I ended up settling down with Gods and Generals and hand-sewed the whole thing, stuffed it and put a nice little snap on it.
